Kilbirnie Osteopaths Wellington
At Kilbirnie Osteopaths Wellington, we use gentle osteopathic treatments to facilitate the healing of injured and painful body parts.
Kilbirnie Osteopaths was founded in 2002 by director Catherine Gollan, who trained in the UK. Catherine has been practising osteopathy for more than 35 years, with most of this time in Wellington.
In 2008 she was joined by Anya Schumacher, in 2010 by Alana Stevenson, and more recently by Gail Hanson, who have brought their skills and experience to add to those offered by Catherine. On Tuesday 1st June 2021, we welcomed Rik Friend to our team. You can book online for Alana, Gail and Rik.
WHAT WE CAN HELP WITH
There are many different techniques an osteopath can use to help reduce pain.
At Kilbirnie Osteopaths Wellington we use the whole range, from gentle cranial techniques to soft tissue releases, joint articulation and manipulation.
We focus on the techniques we think will work best for you, that will work with your body to stimulate healing, and remove the restrictions that are preventing your body from healing itself.
Osteopathy can be used to treat both new and existing conditions.
Our osteopathic practice is attended by all ages - from babies to the elderly, and we’re experienced in treating each age group.
We like to actively involve our patients in their treatment by suggesting exercise or lifestyle changes that you can do at home to increase the benefit gained from the treatment.
